Dear Governor Brown:

California became a sister state to South Korea’s Jeju province in 2005 and to the nation of South Korea in 1987.
Jeju Province is the “meat dog farm capital of South Korea” where a large percentage of dogs consumed in South Korea are bred and slaughtered.
This is because their local government is known to be friendly to these cruel dog farmers.
Dogs of Jeju dog farms make long torturous journey from Jeju Island to mainland Korea only to be slaughtered in most brutal and horrific ways.

California should not be a sister state to South Korea’s Jeju province and to the nation of South Korea.

Please urge President Geun-Hye Park and Jeju Province’s Governor, Hee-Ryong Won,  to close down all illegal dog farms and slaughterhouses, markets, truckers and restaurants who serve their products.

An online petition calling for your support in ending the horrendous South Korean dog and cat meat cruelty is in progress:

The favor of your reply is requested.
Thank you,

Sincerely:
