Positive update from Mayor Moon! Palm Springs, sister city to Asan, S. Korea
And send a thank you please
And/or use Fb, Twitter, or call, or send a letter.

Dear Mayor Moon,
City Council members:

According to the Korean Governor's Association database, Palm Springs is a sister city to Asan South Korea.

We urge you to please watch the videos of South Korea’s brutal and illegal dog meat industry:
And please read:
Do you think that Palm Springs should be a Friendship city to any city that allows dogs and cats to be (illegally) tortured and eaten?

Please urge Asan Mayor Ki-Wang Bok to close down all those illegal dog farms and slaughterhouses, markets, truckers, and restaurants that serve these animal products!
An online petition calling for your support in ending the horrendous South Korean dog and cat meat cruelty is in progress:

The favor of your reply is requested.
Thank you,

  1. reply: " I have no idea what you are referring to and am wondering where you are researching. Palm Springs is not a Sister City to Asian S. Korea nor to any other city in Korea. Further our City has the greatest respect and love of animals and as such we operate our city shelter as a no-kill facility which is extremely rare for a municipal shelter. Please do better research."

  2. I have spoken to our City Manager on this subject, and we can find no record of the City of Palm Springs having any Sister City relationship with any city anywhere in the world. I am working with our City Attorney to have the Korean Government Association correct their database.

    Best regards,

    Rob Moon
